Three Unique Registries
Select Registry - Both parents known and registered with an approved stock-type registry. Breeding report on-file.
Standard Registry - One parent is known and registered with an approved registry. IQPA sires must submit a breeding report.
Hardship Registry - Neither parent is known, but pony exhibits stock-type conformation.
Each approved registration will receive colored and embossed papers with up to three generations (if provided) and transfer documents. IQPA recognizes the need to be able to use ponies of other breed types to help enhance the looks, size, & abilities of Quarter Ponies. Therefore, no special approval is required if one parent is registered with an approved breed registry:
NOT ELIGBLE: Gated ponies or ponies with gated parents. Ponies with less than 25% approved breed bloodlines. Ponies over 14.2 hand or 58" regardless of parents' registration.
