IQPA Approved Shows

• Points can be earned at any OPEN SHOW!!!!  (This includes Breed shows, Pony Club, 4-H, Saddle Club shows, rodeos, etc.)
• Exhibitor and Owner must be an active Participants.
• Pony must be registered with IQPA (Select, Standard, or Hardship)
• The point system is simple: your pony earns 1/2 point for every equine your pony is placed above. 
• Points forms must be filled out completely within 30 days of the show to be counted in yearly totals.  Form: https://forms.gle/e9Wvw6JZ8NmguxqTA
• Forms submitted after this date will still be counted towards lifetime points, but not for Yearly Awards.
• You must PLACE in a class to get points.  Placings are accepted through 10th Place.  (Ranking is not the same as Placing.)

• Halter

                  Sample classes: Halter, Hunter-In Hand, Conformation, Lunge Line

• Driving 

                  Sample classes: Pleasure, Disciplined Rail, Roadster, Obstacle, Combined, Dressage    

• Western

                  Sample classes: Pleasure, Disciplined Rail, Riding, Reining, Ranch Riding

• Trail 

                  Sample classes: Show, Extreme, In-Hand, Endurance, Judged Trail Ride, Ranch Trail

• English

                  Sample classes: Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, Disciplined Rail

• Sport Pony

                  Sample classes: Dressage, Show Jumping, Cross Country, Hunter Hack, Over Fences   

• Gymkhana 

                  Sample classes: Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Keyhole

• Cow Pony (Must Involve Livestock)

                  Sample classes: Reined Cow, Cutting, Sorting, Penning, Goat Tying, Roping 

• Equitation

                  Sample classes: Showmanship, Horsemanship, Equitation, Leadline
